Panoramic Images

Below are examples of panoramic images, one is a standard panoramic image and the other is a Quicktime Virtual Reality image both were made from the same group of images via specialized photo equipment & software. Some nice features of a virtual reality image is that it allows the viewer to zoom and pan in 360˚. The best features of a standard panoramic is its high resolution and large printable file size. Typical printing sizes for a standard panoramic range between 8" h x 48" w x 300 dpi to 12" h x 96" w x 300 dpi (each image is unique in size). There are some limitations to this type of panoramic photography: the subject must be somewhat static and the camera must be level with the horizon.
